Salil Apte earned his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2009-2013). Subsequently, he was a visiting student in the Braun Lab at Singapore University of Technology and Design (2014-2015). Salil earned his M.S. degree in bio-robotics from Delft University of Technology in Netherlands (2015-2017) and the Ph.D. degree for the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.
